All you need to add is your own Compact Flash (CF) card and a card reader for your PC. The DL1 logs ~27MB of data per hour. Card must be FAT formatted (not FAT32 which is the WinXP default), so any card up to 2GB in size will work. We recommend that you stay with name brand card vendors as some off brand cards have shown random errors. Video4 uses FAT32 format so larger card sizes can be used for video. *Here are some simple software analysis examples I've collected into a pdf so you can see how easily you can start learning from your data; note these were done in V6, circa 2005; the software is even more capable in the current V7:
